Talk Homework: Try and find an analogue and a 24 hour digital clock in your house. Tell someone the time as much as you possibly can - until it gets annoying for everyone else!!!

This week we have started a new topic that is focussed on looking at poverty. We have learned about an affluent place (Cape Town) and a deprived place (Langa). This has carried on from our learning about apartheid - a lot of people living in poverty in South Africa are black, even though apartheid has ended.

In maths we have been looking at clocks - some of them have been hard but some have been easy. We can all cn tell the time on an analogue clock. We have also been looking at digital clocks, which most of us find easy - although it got trickier when we used 24 hour clocks. Ellie has been doing work experience in our class and she has been a big help to us when learning how to tell the time. (But she's only good because Mr B taught her in the first place!) Thank you Ellie!

Our Learner of the Week this week is Lilly.
