In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 10th March

1.) Remember to read for 20 minutes each day and record your reading on Boom Reader.

2.) There are 4 tasks set for you on SATs Companion - please complete these by next Wednesday.

3.) Revise this week's spelling words ready for a quiz on Monday: official, superficial, special, social, racial, crucial, antisocial, artificial, facial, beneficial.

Indira: This week we had a 'Mock SATs Week' in Year 6.  Some of the questions in the papers were really tricky, but we are all growing in confidence and getting used to answering questions in a set time.  It was all really good practice for our real tests in May.

Harrison:  I enjoyed our PE session this week when we did circuit activities to music in the hall.  We had to do each exercise for 1 minute, then rest while we moved onto the next station.  At the end of the circuit we then did a 'bleep test' activity where we worked on improving our running endurance and tried to manage our running pace.

Leo:  In Geography we have been finding out about different people across the world who have influenced civil rights.  We had to plot where they came from on a world map.
