Talk Homework: What are you grateful for? In remembrance, take time to think of those people who have fought for our freedom today. Could you draw a poppy? Lest we forget.

This week we have been developing our subtracting knowledge in maths- we have subtracting two digit numbers from two digit numbers, including crossing tens. In English we have been enjoying our new book 'The Magic Finger' and have made predictions about what we think Girl will turn members of the Gregg family into. In science, we have looked at the effects of exercise on our bodies- we used vocabulary such as at heart rate, pulse, sweating and temperature to compare ourselves before and after exercise. In RE, we enjoyed sharing our assembly on the bible story of baby Moses- ask us to share our song! We have also learnt about reasons why Christians believe Jesus is special and reflected on ways in which we are special too. In DT, we have continued developing our sewing skills and have began to consider our designs, reflecting on the practicality of these when sewing our own. In PE, we have been developing our dribbling skills in football and really enjoyed the game where we had to avoid the crab by using our dribbling skills to find a space and defend our ball! This week we have also been practising our songs and dances for our play- we can't wait to show you! We have also started our new music unit 'Hands, feet and Heart' learning our song and finding the pulse in the song. We did amazing well at repeating rhythmic patterns!

Happy Weekend!

Miss Bennett
