Talk Homework: Explain the 3 different types of skeletons to your family; endoskeleton, exoskeleton and hydrostatic skeletons

Daily Reading

We have really enjoyed a wide range of things this week. One of our favourites was learning about the different types of skeletons and watching some videos of creatures with exoskeletons shedding their skin.

We have continued reading 'Why the whales came' and can't wait to see what happens! We are now gathering ideas from reading the setting description of Samson island to prepare us to write our own based on an eery picture.

We have really enjoyed learning about scaling and maths and have finally finished our learning all about multiplation and division...for now at least.

Thursday was the best day this week. We revisited Scarpace and his artwork, we looked at his use of colour and glazed our fish and most of them are ready to be fired in the kiln.

Finally this week we have enjoyed both PE sessions. We have been learning about shooting in hockey with Miss Lizell and in dance we have begun creating our own dances based on different sea creatures that we will continue with next week.
