This has been a great week in Maple class.

We have really enjoyed reading some more of our CLPE book called The Last Wolfe. We have been drawing some pictures of a forest and using some interesting vocabulary to describe what we could see, hear and touch. In the week, we went to our nature area where we pretended we were in a forest and acted out our new words.

Lucy loved 'Show and Tell' today, because we sat comfortably to really enjoy learning from everybody's contributions. The children are becoming very aware of the issues with our planet and are so enthusiastic about learning what we can do to help our planet have a healthy future.

This week was Green Week, Harry has enjoyed collecting data in our outside area to survey the amount of traffic that passes through our village. We recorded the number of cars, vans and lorries that passed by. Later we converted our data into a pictogram. Our conclusion was that there are a lot of cars that pass through Buckden!

Have a fantastic weekend
