In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 2nd October

Talk Homework:  Find out about the Galapagos Islands - What is it like there?  What is the climate like?  What sort of plants and animals would you find there?

Active Maths & Times Table Rockstars: - don't forget to practise these too!

We have had a really busy week in Year 6 and have especially enjoyed our Power of Reading book.  We are getting so good at predicting what might happen next and we can't wait to find out!  We all wrote fantastic poems at the start of the week to describe how Kester escaped from Spectrum Hall.

In Maths we have been learning how to do long division and we have found chunking to be a really helpful method.  We have also revised factors and multiples.

In Global Learning, we have looked at Climate Change and drawn cartoon strips to explain how it happens.  We are now thinking about how we can help to prevent the effects of Climate Change.....

Have a great weekend!
