Talk Homework: Discuss the 'Green Man' with your adults at home. Can you spot any Green Man carvings during the bank holiday weekend?

This week we have been writing a letter to Sir Robert Peel about the Irish potato famine. We have been trying to persuade him to do more to help the Irish.

In English we have been learning about Lob and commas. We think Lob may be the Green Man. We have also been describing what we think about Lob. In guided reading we read an interesting short story about a Peculiar Murder.

In maths we have enjoyed learning about angles and 2D and 3D shapes. Today we were investigating 3D shapes and looking at prisms. In arithmetic we have been practicing money and subtraction.

We have been learning about the story of Noah in RE, today we were writing words which we think describe God after the flood.

We have enjoyed learning about healthy eating with Mrs Dunford. We were writing about what a good, healthy breakfast is. We used a healthy eating plate to make our own breakfasts.

In PE with Miss Lizell, we have enjoyed getting ready for sports day by practicing relay race.

In French we have been learning La Semaine (lundi, mardi, mecredi, jeudi, ventredi, samedi et dimanche).
