In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 23rd October

Talk homework: To bring a plastic bottle into school after half term.

So the end of half term has arrived. Everyone really deserves a rest because Sessions class have worked sooooooo hard, well done everybody.

This week we had a spelling test and everyone really tried their hardest but Kiki was really pleased with herself because she had learnt the words during lockdown. George and everyone really had a good time making a bug house (tent). We had to join three pieces of wood together with some very careful string threading and knotting. It was a real challenge to make sure the materials that we put inside the bughouse didn't fall out when Mrs Tarpey threatened to tip them up! Claire has enjoyed maths and English. Maths because we learned about number bonds to 100 and English because we learned how to write commands. In phonics Lucas enjoyed making words with the 'ey' diagraph out of playdough. The highlight of today was wearing our red clothes to school, everyone looked fantastic.

Hope you have a safe and restful half-term break.
