Your Talk Homework this week is to talk to your adults at home about what has happened so far in The Magic Finger.
Happy Friday! Where has the week gone? The countdown to Christmas is on and we are preparing to get very Christmassy! The children have continued to work so hard in all of our learning and we are super proud of them.
Arya has enjoyed our introduction to our new Power of Reading book, The Magic Finger by Roald Dahl! Carys has enjoyed our Guided Reading sessions learning about Cops and Robbers! Alfie has loved the start to our story, as well as his RE learning where we looked down on the stable during the birth of Baby Jesus. Alex has enjoyed learning about the Magic Finger and is desperate to find out what happens to the Gregg Family! He also loved Global Learning this week. Omar has enjoyed his English and Maths learning - he loved the story! James has enjoyed the start of the Magic Finger and has mastered addition of a 2-digit number and a 1-digit number bridging through 10. Hes also loved all of our other learning too! Hollie has enjoyed Maths, being the teacher and being a super team player. Sophie has enjoyed everything this week! Jasper has enjoyed playing football in PE and our Global learning too. Kyan has enjoyed everything this week too! Charlotte has loved being the teacher in our Maths learning and also our English learning with the Magic Finger - we cant wait to find out what is happening next! Emily-Rose has loved working hard in our Maths learning and being an expert at phonics. Ellie-Louise has loved our whole class reading text and has enjoyed being introduced to subtracting bigger numbers!
Please remember to send your child in with a spare pair of shoes (or slippers) to wear in the classroom to prevent the floor from getting super muddy!
