Talk Homework: Talk about your hopes and aspirations going into Year 2.
We have had an awesome week in Goodall class this week. We have been really hands on in our Maths learning this week starting with capacity and measuring the volume of containers, getting very wet in the process! We then moved onto mass and weighed lots of different items and discussed what was heavier and lighter.
Then on Tuesday we had such an amazing time on our trip to the Raptor Foundation! We learned lots of information about birds of prey, we dissected animal pellets, which was both disgusting and fun, we watched a flying show and we went into the repltile house and petted a bearded dragon but we were disappointed that it couldn't breath fire.
We also had lots of fun in our Rock Steady assembly where we learned the names of different instruments that you would find musicians playing in a rock band. Then during the workshops we were able to take that to the next level and we created our very own Rock band! We can't wait for September to start up our own bands!
Thank you for reading.
