Transition Week

Talk to your adult about your week in Year 6

Acorn haven't been all together much this week, but they've had lots of fun getting a taster of life in Year 6. They've enjoyed team-building activities with their new classmates and learnt about their class's musician (class name). I've had rave reviews about the week and many have voiced how much they're now looking forward to September.

Today, Acorn and Bluebell had an extremely busy day of cutting and sewing their t-shirt bags as well as having a go at Batik and fabric dying. They also organised and managed a school uniform sale as part of their Geography unit on Sustainable Fashion.

Next week is our last week in Year 5 - it's going to be a fun but busy one as we finish a lot of learning off and our Skills Builder project, ahead of Year 6. We've the Year 6 play to look forward to as well. No SATS Companion or spellings this week, but please read ready to take AR quizzes next week.

Have a lovely weekend.
