In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

23rd June 2023

Talk homework: Next week we will be participating in Sports Day. Prepare your child for what it will be like: there will be lots of people watching and cheering and it doesn’t matter if they win or lose.

Please remember to listen to your child read a minimum of 3 times a week and log it on Boom Reader.

We have had a week of problem solving with Science week activities. The picture above is of our aeroplanes we designed and made on Monday. It was interesting to see how the size and shape of the wings affected how the planes flew.

Other activities have included talking about the future and roles we could take on as careers within science.

Bode is keen to be an entimologist, Caelan a paleontologist and Holly a zoologist.

Each child chose an animal to draw or paint a detailed picture of as bioartists do. Kobe's giraffe was a particular success. We then also researched and wrote a bit about the chosen animals.

In PE ,we have practiced the egg and spoon and shuttle run races.

In maths, we have learnt about division through sharing biscuits fairly between plates.
