Talk homework - tell you parents and carers about Science Week.

Spellings - incorrect, illegible, subject, international, believe, preparation, coronation, wildly, bravely, thoughtfully, amazing.

We have had an exciting Science Week:

Oliver Carter came in to talk to us about fossils and how animals adapt to make the most of our environment.  We said that 'scientists are also artists,' as scientific drawings are used with science.

In PE, we were benefited from the expertise of our work experience volunteer, William.  As he helped us develop our skills in batting.

In History, we learnt about the Windrush generation and why they came to Britain.

Spelling - expression, musician, reluctantly, group, scene, circle, solar, supermarket, bicycle, except, enough.

Homework - please speak to your adult about bringing materials to make aeroplane for Science Week next week.

We enjoyed the Secret Garden that was funded the PTA and we thought it was clever how the actors played different roles and changed  the scenes and sets.  Harrison thought the character were very humorous.

Year 4 enjoyed creating and presenting the drama slot for our introduction of Caribbean history in preparation for our new topic about the Windrush.  Some of us said that we played effective European capturers and others enjoyed the acting in their role.

We were surprised the outcome of the story when the characters turned into wolves.  We were proud of our pieces of work because we all preserved.

Some of us found the Maths quiz quite fun as it was shorter and easier this time.

We also enjoyed French as we were learning about weather.
