This week was transition week and all of year 3 were given opportunity to meet their new teachers for year 4, they spent the time with their new teachers getting to know them and learning about the new class names for next year. They are very excited to share what they have been doing this week with you.

Elliott - "I enjoyed PE where we were passing a ball behind our back and we were playing over, under, over, under."

Ivy - "I enjoyed when we were making a poster for Vaughan Williams in Miss Harris's class which focused on synonym music notes, writing a paragraph about him and drawing what we imagined when we listened to 'the lark ascending'".

Connie and Harry J - "I really enjoyed colouring our butterflies and Mindapples, also writing our lunchtime and home time prayers."

Lucas and Lola - "I liked when we drew our pictures of Scott Joplin and then colouring them in, we had to write 'Scott - the king of Rag time' and we wrote a newspaper about his childhood and which instruments his mum and dad played."

Barney - "I enjoyed having a later lunch because I get to play with my brother at lunchtime."

Finley - "I enjoyed on Monday when we wrote about ourselves, what we like, our favourite foods and more."

Maizie and Ella S - "I have enjoyed where we were making bookmarks that had our name on the top, had our TT rockstars, purple mash and AR usernames and passwords which we did with Ms Dunford."

Dexter - "I really enjoyed when we came in the morning we got to complete maths equations on the board."

Mya - "I enjoyed the start of transition week when we went to collective Worship and everyone was really excited to go to their new classes."

Hetty - "I enjoyed meeting our new teachers and having the experience of being in Year 4, Mrs Wall is a really good teacher, and she is really nice."

Tom W - "I enjoyed making our music notes for our feelings of the music by Vaughan Williams."

Harry E - "This week I really, really, really loved learning about my new teacher."

The children in Mrs Wall's classroom wanted to share that the room has a female ghost in it, they are looking forward to meeting/discovering if this is true!
