Talk Homework- Help your child to learn their surname, their parents first names and if they can manage it their address.
Reading- Ensure that you read with your child at least 3 times a week and record this in their reading record book.
Homework- Hear your child 'read' their lilac book at least 3 times a week. Please remember to write your comments in the reading log. Your log will be checked on a Monday and books changed every Monday and Thursday. For guidance on how to support your child's story telling, see the previous blog post.
Talk homework- We are going to be talking about our families. Try to encourage your child to use the following vocabulary:
Level 1- mum, dad, brother, sister
Level 2- grandparents, cousins, uncle, aunt
Level 3- siblings, relatives
