In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 11th July

Year 6 have had a busy week with rehearsals continuing for our play, as well as organising and holding our Enterprise Event on Thursday afternoon.  The children all worked successfully together as a team to host a lovely afternoon which entertained the rest of the children in school, and they raised a very impressive £396.85 in the process.  £200 will be donated to the charity 'Reach' which supports children with upper limb disabilities - as suggested by Alex, and the remaining amount will be used to purchase a basketball hoop and school mascot which the Year 6's would like to give as a leaving present to the rest of the children at school.  We are extremely proud of their efforts.

From Monday, Year 6's will be permitted to wear their Leavers Hoodies over their school uniform.  We are looking forward to our last church assembly on Monday and will be spending next week perfecting our play performance and preparing for our Leavers Assembly.  More information will come next week regarding shirt signing and arrangements for their final day at school.

We look forward to seeing them all at the Leavers Party which takes place tonight at school from 5-6.30pm.
