The children have done very well this week despite the heat!

In English we were looking at our new book '10 things I can do to help my world' and the children thought of their own ways to help the world and then we compared these to the ones in the book. 

In Maths we have been looking at 1 more and 1 less in numbers up to 100. We have also looked at comparing numbers up to 100 and used the greater than and less than symbols. Additionally we have been doing lots of arithmetic to make sure the children are confident with the foundations of maths and are ready for Year 2!

In History we have been looking more into clothing in the past and how it is different to clothing now. 

The children have now designed their final product for DT and have lots of brilliant ideas of how they can repurpose their t-shirts! If you have not done so, please could you bring in an old t-shirt for DT next week as we will be completing our final project.
