In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 3rd February

1.) Remember to read for 20 minutes each day and record your reading on Boom Reader.

2.) There are 4 tasks set for you on SATs Companion - please complete these by next Wednesday.

3.) Revise this week's spelling words ready for a quiz on Tuesday: dissatisfied, dissimilar, unsure, unnatural, overseas, overrule, disappointed, unnecessary, overreact, impatient.

Harrison:  I have really enjoyed Art this week.  We continued to work on our David Hockney style pieces, using masking tape to create our straight lines and mixing warm and cool colours to show depth to our paintings.

Susie:  This week we have written our arguments to say whether or not Just So Stories have a place in today's society. We had to think about the language and vocabulary we used as we needed to write in a formal tone.  I spent lots of time drafting and re-drafting my writing but in the end I was really pleased with what I wrote.

Kayleigh:  In Maths this week we have continued to work on algebra.  We had equations to solve where we had to work out the value of letters.  It was tricky at first but I'm really getting the hang of it now.
