In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 23rd September

Homework:

  • Please complete the tasks set for you on SATs Companion.
  • Remember to read every day and record this on Boom Reader.
  • Revise this week's spellings ready for a quiz on Monday:  according, profession, sacrifice, awkward, conscious, dictionary, system, familiar, individual, neighbour.

Darcy:  In PE we have been developing our tennis skills.  This week we had to rally the ball with our partner and see how many hits we could send and receive successfully. It was lots of fun!

Izzy:  In Geography we have been learning about deforestation.  We were asked to design a poster to give facts about the issue.  I have really enjoyed this.

Kayleigh:  In Science we have been thinking about why woodpeckers don't get concussion.  We did an investigation where we had to design a protective case for an egg to keep it safe when it was dropped from a height.  Many of us succeeded!  We learnt about fair testing and why this is important.
