Blog 12.11.21

Talk homework: Explain to your adults which different teeth we have in our mouths and how we should brush them.

We have enjoyed doing English this morning. We were trying to write words about a picture from our book. We used these to write a poem. It is at the end of our blog.

We enjoyed dance this week. We practised doing kicks and leaping because we watched the Firebird dance. Some of the ballerina's moves were leaps and kicks.

Some of us have done Bikability today.

In Maths, we have been learning how to estimate using rounding.

In PE with Miss Lizell we have been learning how to play tag rugby.

In spellings, we have been using the sub- prefix.

The Edge of the Kingdom

Numb and glum,

Bone rattling and spooky,

Death, everlasting, terrifying, can’t trust anything.

Haunted darkness,

Rats scattering everywhere,

as if they were as fast as a flash.

Dreadful on a winter’s night,

Pitch black, foggy and silent,

Mysterious, questionable and horrifying,

Dark, gloomy and terrifying.

Peaceful and dreamlike,

Quiet, enchanted, shortly,

So many tall trees, I can’t see,

Full of nature and as quiet as a bee.

A grey wolf, as big as a lion,

Sharp and pointy teeth,

Large mouth and terrifying paws,

And don’t forget his big large jaws.

Lots of skeletons on the floor,

Like people died in the war.

He comes to find you every night,

In the sky of moonlight.
