This week we have begun our topic of 'Down at the Bottom of the Garden'. We read the story of the Bog Baby and made our own beautiful babies from playdough. The children then wrote about the characteristics of their baby.

In maths, we practised our counting skills, ensuring we count one thing at a time. We counted quantities to 10 and beyond. 

We have started to do early morning writing. Our books have an image of something familiar which we talk about and then write words and sentences about. 

Today's adventures was our Creative Spaces skills builder project. This was an amazing amount of fun. The classroom spaces were changed into Woodlands, Seaside and City environments. We explored the sights and the sounds of these places. We then got into groups of 3 to decide upon which environment to use as inspiration for our mini art gallery. Working as a team we then created art work and put is into a miniature gallery. The final galleries were amazing.
