From Monday, Year 6's will be permitted to wear their Leavers Hoodies over their school uniform.  We are looking forward to our last church assembly on Monday and will be spending next week perfecting our play performance and preparing for our Leavers Assembly.  More information will come next week regarding shirt signing and arrangements for their final day at school.

This week, there is no homework set on SATs Companion. Instead, for those moving to Hinchingbrooke in September, please start to create your shoe box (containing items which represent yourself) which you will be taking with you in your first few days in September.  Please also find attached the 'Get Ahead' Booklet which details work for you to do over the summer.  We suggest you spread this work out, and this week, why not complete the English tasks ready to hand to your new teacher in September.  For those children not attending Hinchingbrooke School, please complete any transition work you may have been given and continue to read for 20 minutes each day.

On Monday we will be going on a Geography walk around the village.  Make sure you bring a small drawstring bag with you which can contain a filled water bottle and a fruit/vegetable snack - we can have this whilst on our walk.  If the weather is warm, please ensure you have a hat with you too.

From Monday, we will be rehearsing our play with NO SCRIPTS!  Make sure you know all your lines and when you need to say them in each scene as well as all the song words.

The children have brought home a letter today about our DT project this half-term.  In groups, they have designed a healthy wrap which they will be putting together next Tuesday.  Please ensure that all ingredients are brought to school on Tuesday 10th June.

Some of the songs in our play are attached below. Try to learn the lyrics over the holiday, as well as your lines, as we will be rehearsing without scripts next half-term.
