Now practise using it to tell the time quarter to and quarter past. If you can already do this try to tell the time to the nearest 5 minutes.

We learnt all about the importance of trees for life on our planet. We learnt how trees provide crucial habitats for animals and if we lose trees animals will loose their homes. At the end of term the children wrote letters to Sir David Attenborough to explain what they are doing to help look after the planet in their own way. It was very exciting this week when we received a letter and postcard from Sir David Attenborough who wanted to thank the children for their interest and to say that he is delighted that the children find his programmes interesting.
