In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 4th November

1.) Remember to read for 20 minutes each day and record your reading on Boom Reader.

2.) There are 4 tasks set for you on SATs Companion - please complete these by next Wednesday.

3.) Revise this week's spelling words ready for a quiz on Monday: cemetery, criticise, ancient, government, leisure, opportunity, recognise, sincerely, variety.

4.) Practise the 'charleston step' ready for dance next Friday!

Will:  I really enjoyed learning the Charleston in PE because I didn't think I could do it, but actually I could!  It was actually easier than it looked!

Kayleigh:  I have enjoyed English this week.  Our new Power of Reading book is called 'Stay where you are and then Leave'.  We created some freeze frames and then wrote a diary entry in role - I was very proud of my work.

Elysia:  I have enjoyed practising how to simplify fractions this week in Maths.  Some fractions can use very large numbers and then are difficult to visualise but when they are simplified it is much easier to understand their value.
