In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 3rd December 2021

Talk Homework: Play shops with your family/friends or look at items in a shop. Use coins if you can. How much are these items? What coins or notes could you use? If you had a certain amount e.g. 50p, how much change would you get?

This week we have been super busy with our learning. We have worked really hard on maths quizzes and have been continuing our learning of money. In English, we have started to plan our own sequel for The Magic Finger- we have all created our own, unique story through a story map and are looking forward to writing them next week. On Wednesday, we had an Art day, we learnt about the making of police hats and made our own badges out of playdough and then clay. We practised our rolling, moulding and tool precision skills. Here are a few of our highlights:

Harry enjoyed doing maths because we did the maths quizzes and I did well.

Connie, Freya, Imogen, Leon, Daisy, Jacob, Ronnie Natalie, Lola,  Annabel, Zac, Michael and Noah enjoyed doing the clay police badges we used our creativity skills

Zac enjoyed PE when he got to do 20 seconds of the exercise and 15 seconds with Miss Lizell

Lily-Mae enjoyed doing place value and the part- part whole model.

David enjoyed making cards for the advent calendar.

Have a great weekend,

Miss Bennett
