In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Talk homework: Ask your adults at home if you can have a look at some different types of money. What can you find? Can you find any notes? Any coins? Talk about the value of the money that you find.

We would like to thank you for attending our Sports Day this morning - the children loved having you in school celebrating them as they participated in their chosen events!

This week the children have been really busy in their learning!

On Monday, the children designed and made their own bags out of material. They stapled around the edge, leaving the top joined and attached handles to their bags.

On Tuesday, the children were given a bar of soap and were given the challenge of carving it into a shape. The children could carve their soap into the shape of any building or plant.

On Wednesday, the children made musical instruments out of recyclable materials.

The children all tried their best at their sports day events and we are so proud of them all for taking part and having a go.

Next week we will be designing and making our own vehicles with moving parts. In order to do this, we will need some cardboard boxes. If you could please save any boxes you have at home and bring them in on Monday that would be fantastic.

Have a wonderful weekend and please stay safe in the heat.

Kindest regards,

Miss Freeman and Willow Class
