This week in maths we first worked on sorting and classifying objects. Some children chose soft and hard, some colours and some size to sort objects. They got very clever at it and definitely stumped Mrs Woodward a few times. We then moved on to finding numbers 1 less than a given digit within 10. We got very quick at this.

In phonics we have recapped i n m d and today some of us wrote whole sentences about digging in the mud. 

This week has mostly been about Christmas though. We have begun our nativity rehearsing and wow, it is already starting to look good.
