This week we went on a wonderful village walk to explore our village of Buckden. We learnt about old houses, new houses, shops, lamposts, and all sort of wonderful things to see in the village. Thank you to the parents who joined us! We then recreated the village in our classroom with junk modelling. In maths, we have been subitising to 4. In music we finished our unit about the Sorcerer's Apprentice. The children loved watching the animation. We also had a special visit from Mrs Woodward's mum, who talked to us about what it was like when she was in school. This was part of learning about how we change from babies, to toddlers, to children, teenagers, adults and then elderly. We finished the reading and writing assessments and we will share the information with you on parents' evening. Have a restful half term!
