We have had an amazing week back and the children have come back with some learning gusto! Great learning and exploring in Maths of the numbers 6,7,8. In Phonics this week the children have started learning their digraphs (two letters together that make one sound 'ch' 'th' and 'qu.' We have had a wicked time in the afternoons playing with items all to do with our new topic 'Once upon a time' which is all about Fairy Tales. They have really enjoyed playing in the castle with their friends, making a stage to deliver a performance but concentrated so hard on creating the stage and the set design that sadly the performance never happened!
