This week, we have completed our poems, where some of us have used alliteration and metaphors to create strong imagery.  We continued with learning our place value and multiplication in Year 5 and units of measurement in Year 4. We have had lots of fun with our Skills Builder as we had to find the main suspect in the case of the stolen chocolate bar

Finally, we have an exciting half-term getting to know our classmates, and we are all looking forward to a well-deserved rest.

In our fun week, we have been outside orbiting around the sun and thinking about the distance of each planet in our solar system. We have learnt about personification in English, e.g., The sun smiled over the bruised desert.  We enjoyed drawing our symmetrical shapes and colouring them in complimentary colours, to resemble African art.

We have also sent out information about the homework expectations on an email.  If you have any questions, please let us know.
