Annabelle: This week we have started a Skills Builder project where we will be designing a fitness class and delivering it to children in a younger year group. We are developing our skills in Staying Positive, Aiming High and Leadership.
Keira: In English we have been exploring issues in the book 'Pig-Heart Boy'. Today we held a press conference where we had to improvise in role as either one of the main characters or as a newspaper reporter asking questions. It was challenging as we had to think on our feet, but also really useful as we gained a better insight as to how the characters were feeling at this point in the book.
Ida: In Science we have been learning about the heart. This week we looked at an Ox's heart and were able to see all four chambers as well as where the blood travels as it enters and exits the heart. It was fascinating to see a real heart being dissected in the classroom.
