    • BIKEABILITY starts on Monday!  For those taking part, you must ensure that bikes and helmets are brought to school on Monday morning in order for your child to take part in the course.  Please also bring warm clothing to wear, as the sessions are 2 hours outside – jogging bottoms, trainers, coats, gloves are advised.  For those who don't live in the village, bikes can be left at school from Monday-Thursday.

Ivy:  In Science we have been designing and making some light-up Christmas Cards.  This week we had to attach out bulbs and batteries and ensure the copper wire lined up in order to complete the circuit.

Hetty:  We have made some miniature Christmas trees out of clay!  We created these using a series of coils, then adding a star on top.  They were fired in the kiln, then glazed before going back in.  We are all excited to see the finished product!

Connie:  In English this week we have been writing Kenning poems about a character in our book, Stay Where You Are And Then Leave.  The character, Joe Patience, was a conscientious objector.
