Please complete the 4 tasks set for you on SATs Companion. Remember to read each day for a minimum of 20 minutes at home with 3 sessions a week reading aloud to an adult. Spend 10 minutes on Doodle Maths each day to improve your arithmetic skills! Make sure you know your spelling words and are ready for our quiz on Monday. The words this week are: celebrate, cemetery, certificate, deceased, December, hindrance, necessary, nuisance, prejudice, sacrifice.
Jonah: In dance we have started to learn the Charleston. It was a bit annoying that we had to dance with girls, and it was quite tricky but also lots of fun!
Archer: In History we have been learning about how World War One began. It was quite complicated but also really interesting.
Michael: On Tuesday, Year 6 visited the War Memorial outside the Church. We learnt about some of the people from the village who fought in World War One and World War Two, and then we had a 2 minute silence.
