    Happy Friday!

The last two weeks have been busy with creative activities - preparing for our oracy show, crafting clay vessels that can hold water and designing our loaves of bread. In English, we've been working on formal persuasive language as they write leaflets from the Government to convince the public that rationing was a good idea in WW2. We've also looked at primary evidence from the 1940s with fascination and we're beginning to form an understanding of what life was like during the Blitz in London.

In Math, we've been continuing with fractions with lots of new learning for multiplying mixed number fractions and fractions of a whole. Pupils have been working so hard and shown a great deal of perseverance.

Please remember to practise your spellings, to read five times a week and complete your Doodle Assignments. After half-term we have our final PIXL assessments and doing DoodleMath will surely help.
