  • Friday 30th January

Homework: Doodle Assignment + 10 minutes a day of Doodle Math or Tables; SPAG sheets; Reading 20 minutes per day and spellings.

Spellings: ancient, amateur, foreign, excellent, awkward, pronunciation, symbol, criticise, equipment, yacht (they will also be tested on the spellings they've had for the last three weeks: pyramid, environment, apparent, accommodate, according, achieve, aggressive, accompany).

This week, pupils have focused hard on their PIXL assessments and have one last Maths assessment to complete Monday. We've also had great fun willow weaving our jellyfish and turtles, which we will be decorating in Friday (please send in an old shirt/art apron into protect their uniforms).

In geography, we explored what microplastics are and six-figure grid references. Whilst in History, we used our detective skills to think like Historians and explored the evidence from Sutton Hoo to decide who might have been buried in the ship.

Please support your children in completing their weekly DoodleMath assignment tasks each week as many children are not completing their homework.

    Have a good weekend.
