Talk Homework: How many different things in your home require cleaning? Think back to our investigation... what would be the best way to remove germs or dirt?

In English we have been continuing our learning about The Lonely Beast. We enjoyed drawing our story maps, including fronted adverbials and feelings. We then used this to write a diary entry as The Lonely Beast himself! In maths we have been applying our fluency skills to problem-solving and reasoning questions. We have also focused on our addition, subtraction and multiplication of 2s, 5s and 10s! In science we have been looking at fair and comparative testing- we had great fun testing the best way to remove germs from our hands... ask us which one was best! In art, we have started designing our own germ and have considered shape, size and different textiles. In collective worship, we have been learning about the Epiphany- we continued this learning in our reading. In PE we enjoyed doing partner work- incorporating different balances in unison with our buddy. In our outdoor PE we have started learning passes in netball, we did an amazing job at bounce passes and chest passes.
