Talk Homework: Use your sketching skills to draw a dragon

Spellings: word, world, towards, warn, work

This week in maths we have been revising our related facts, making fact families. We have also revised our knowledge of the properties of shape- we had to complete a code to escape the classroom! In English we have been introduced to our new book, where we designed and made our own egg box dragon using junk modelling. Today we wrote an explanation, explaining how we did this and reflecting on our teamwork. In science, we have been exploring and learning about different materials. We discussed the materials used in every day objects and used scientific vocabulary, such as rigid, flexible and stretchy, to describe them. This morning we had a visit from GenR8, teaching us all about forgiveness and how it can be challenging sometimes. In RE, we have been learning about the Torah and its importance in the Jewish community.

Georgie- I really enjoyed maths when we were doing the fact families

Luke- I enjoyed multi-tasking with our mindfulness colouring and our blog this afternoon

Zac- I enjoyed escaping the classroom when we had to break the code

Imogen- I enjoyed doing maths today

Myia- I enjoyed making the Egg Box Dragon

Happy Friday!
