Talk homework - do TTrockstars (the multiplication check is coming up!!!)

Today in English, we were making junk model villages. The villages were themed around the Yao People, like in our new book.

Yesterday in maths, we were learning about estimating money. We did equations like: A boy has £5, he wants to buy a jigsaw which costs £1.85. We would round £1.85 to the nearest pound (£2) and take that away from his money to see if he had enough.

In PE with Lizell we played cricket. We focused on batting, fielding, bowling and wicket keeper. Then, with Mrs Anderson, we learnt to play rounders and were practising our throwing and catching skills. We had to get in groups of 4 so one person was catching, one person threw, and then when someone threw the other person threw, so they balls crossed in the air. We tried to not let the balls hit each other.

In Global learning, we are learning about how work can affect the landscape. We were learning about how building houses can affect the surrounding wildlife.

In PSHE, we were thinking about what the differences are between being proud and boastful. We discovered a lot of it is to do with the way you speak and what you say.

We had class photos taken today.
