Talk Homework: Practice counting money at home by playing shops.

Spellings: some, nothing, done, mother, other

Today we were practising making an amount of money using different combinations of coins. Ezra enjoyed this and could find different combinations of coins really well. Finley enjoyed P.E. on Tuesday when we danced like different seeds being dispersed in the air. It was great fun being Sycamore seeds, dandelion seeds and exploding seeds in time to the music. Isla P wrote a letter in English to the Pasha using her most beautiful handwriting that she is very proud of. Our letters explained to the Pasha whether he should send baby Zeraffa to France or not. The children had some lovely reasons why this might be a good thing to do or why it really isn't a good idea. Barney enjoyed a different English lesson when we described Atir who is a character in Zeraffa Giraffa. This week the weather has been kind and Mr Short took the class on to the field to investigate the properties of 3D shapes. David thought this way of learning with his buddy was very enjoyable. Isla F has enjoyed our arithmetic sessions this week. Jacob learnt lots in science this week he now has a better understanding of the different food groups.

Remember next week is walk to school week and if you do you will get a sticker.

Have a great weekend,

Maple class
