Friday 1st October

Talk Homework:

Research the Galápagos Islands. Bullet point 5 interesting facts you find out.

Spend some time exploring SATs Companion.  Log in at home and show an adult how you can choose activities to do under the 'Practise' section.

Riley:  I have enjoyed learning how to do division in Maths.  My confidence has really improved.

Caleb:  In English this week we have learnt how to use figurative language to make our writing more interesting.  We have written a poem which uses similes, metaphors, personification and alliteration to describe Kester's escape from Spectrum Hall.

Valarie:  I really enjoyed our Science work this week when we had to design a protective case for an egg.  This represented a woodpecker's skull.  All of our cases saved the egg from breaking when it was dropped from a height.
