In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 17th September

Talk homework: Talk with your adults about the traffic that passes through Buckden. How can traffic impact our environment and health?

Barney has been having a fun week in maths, in fact he said he enjoyed most of it. Joshua loves maths too because it is fun! Mae has enjoyed reading some more of our book The Last Wolf. She found out that Little Red's mum said that she could go and catch the wolf because there hadn't been a wolf seen for 100 years. George came to the front of the room and told everybody all about Little Red.  David has made the most of his time during handwriting practice and has been perfecting his letter formation. Florence has simply enjoyed everything in school this week. Ivy is still enjoying learning phonics at school. Our phonics knowledge is so important because it will help us to read really big words when we are older. Ella likes to learn her spellings in interesting ways, sometimes she uses colours to help her learn. Ethan loves working in our outdoor area. We learnt our science out there on Wednesday when we drew things we could see that were alive, dead and never alive.

Have an amazing weekend
