Please complete the 4 tasks set for you on SATs Companion by next Tuesday. Remember to read for a minimum of 20 minutes at home each day, with 3 sessions a week reading aloud to an adult. Make sure you know this week's spelling words and are ready for our quiz on Monday. The words are: blown, known, thrown, poultry, shallow, shoulder, smoulder, window, soul, mould. Try to spend 10 minutes on Doodle Maths each day in order to improve your arithmetic skills!
On Tuesday (11th November) we will all be visiting the War Memorial at church to be part of the outside Remembrance Service. Please ensure you have a warm coat with you that day!
Scarlett: This week we had a visit from a Magistrate. I found it fascinating to learn about his job and the consequences people face when they break the law.
Ivy: I was involved in the Tag Rugby Competition on Tuesday. It was my first experience of going out of school to do a competition and I had a great time.
Georgie: I enjoyed English this week. We were asked to write about the best birthday party we have ever been to, and it was fun to remember what makes a birthday special.
