Homework - reading at least 3 times a week. This week there isn't a focus book, as next week we will be doing end of half term assessments in reading and writing.

Doodle maths totalling 30 minutes over the week and completing the task set.

This week in phonics has been a revision week, revising all the GPCs we've learnt so far. We read the book Sam and Ted in shared reading. In maths we have been learning to subitise up to 3. As part of our All About Me topic, we've been labelling the human body and we had a special visitor! Ella T's mummy brought in Ella's baby brother, Freddie, so that we could talk about how much we have grown up and what we can do now compared to when we were babies. In RE, we learnt that Christians believe that God created the world and everything on it...including jellyfish. Today, on Wear Red Day, we learnt about racism and how we are all similar and unique. We learnt that we are wearing red to remind everyone that it is important to be kind to everyone. We are all excited for our first school disco, too!
