Friday 23rd May

Please complete any tasks set for you on SATs Companion by Tuesday 3rd June.  Remember to read regularly over half-term and record this reading in your diaries, which will be checked on Monday 2nd June.  Keep up-to-date with what is happening next week in the news and be ready to write about a story that interests you when we return to school after half-term.

Some of the songs in our play are attached below. Try to learn the lyrics over the holiday, as well as your lines, as we will be rehearsing without scripts next half-term.

Have a lovely holiday.

Mrs Purser and Mrs Waker

Sonny - In Science week, we did an experiment in our class where we were investigating how much water was best to put in a water bottle in order to perform a successful bottle flip.  We had to decide how we were going to record our results, and we had to make sure our test was fair.

Chase - We had a visitor called Olly this week who came to talk to us in our classes about the different kinds of houseplants we had in our classroom and how we should care for them - I found it really interesting.

Harrison - On Wednesday we did a carousel of Science activities.  My favourite was testing the shapes of paper planes to see which were the most aerodynamic.
