In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Talk homework - talk about how Hogarth is feeling. Mathletics is set.

In art we have been able to take our both our clay models home. In DT we have been planning our Iron Man creations and we will make it throughout the rest of the half term.

In music we have practised our song for the Christmas Carol Concert and we are singing Mary's Boy Child.

In topic we have been learning about volcanoes and how they have been formed. There are two tectonic plates under the crust and if they clash together they can form a mountain. The crust is about 70km thick.

In English we have been reading the Iron Man story. It is about an Iron Man who is taller than a house and bigger than a ship. He fell off a cliff and fell apart but then reconstructed himself back together. Then there was a boy fishing and the Iron Man climbed to the top of the cliff and terrified the boy.

In maths we have been learning about perimeter of rectangular shapes. If a rectangle has one side 7cm and one side 9cm what is the perimeter going to be?

Our learner of the week is George.
